Job summary

Delaware Valley Floral Group is seeking a Part-Time Casual Delivery Driver in Jessup, MD to safely deliver fresh floral products on scheduled routes. You will operate a refrigerated box truck, ensure timely deliveries, and provide courteous service to customers.

The role requires 2+ years of driving experience with box trucks, a valid license, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. This on-site position offers a part-time schedule with early start times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years driving box trucks (16 ft or larger) preferred.
• Valid license and ability to obtain DOT Medical Certification (CDL not required).
• Acceptable driving record.
• Able to lift/move up to 60 pounds.

About the Role

The Part-Time Casual Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering fresh floral products to customers across assigned routes. This role plays a key part in ensuring on-time delivery, maintaining product quality, and delivering a positive customer experience.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a refrigerated box truck to complete assigned delivery routes
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of floral products to customers

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to work in a warehouse and refrigerated cooler environment (approximately 34°F) and to lift, carry, and move products up to 60 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. The position also requires frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing in and out of a truck, and extended driving periods.

The expected hourly rate for this position is listed above. Actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.

Please note: This is a part-time position and is not eligible for company-sponsored benefits.

Additional offering:

• Quarterly safety incentive bonus (up to $1,500 annually, based on eligibility)

Other Information

• Onsite role based out of Jessup, MD distribution facility
• Part-time, as-needed schedule with variable hours based on business needs; flexibility required
• Start times: Monday-Tuesday at 2:30 AM; Wednesday-Friday at 3:00 AM, until route completion
• Local travel required within MD, Northern VA, and PA delivery areas
