Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. is seeking a delivery driver in Windsor, CT to safely drive a PepsiCo truck, deliver products, and merchandise to local stores. You will unload, stock, and rotate products, while adhering to DOT regulations and maintaining positive store relationships.

Responsibilities include completing daily paperwork and providing reliable service across assigned routes. Candidates must be 21+, hold a valid CDL A, and be able to lift 20–45 lbs repeatedly in variable weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid CDL Class A with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and DOT regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Physically capable of lifting 20–45 pounds per case repeatedly.
• Able to reach, squat, and bend while delivering and merchandising in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a PepsiCo truck to deliver products on an established or contingency route.
• Deliver products and execute promotions, ensuring every scheduled customer is serviced by end of shift.
• Unload product and merchandise each account to local standards and rotate inventory.
• Follow DOT regulations and safe work practices while driving and handling product.
• Build positive relationships with store contacts and complete required daily paperwork.

Quick Look

• Pay: $28.95 per hour
• Location: Windsor, CT
• Work Days: Guranteed Sundays off with and average 4-5 days per week. Driver must be available to work Saturdays, based on relief routes, driver schedules and vacation coverage - relief driver will work either a 4days/10hour route or 5 days/8hour route. or
• Start Time: 4:00 am - 6:00 am
• End Time: Upon completion of assigned work

Deliver, sell, and merchandise beloved brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina by driving a route to serve local stores, unloading and merchandising to standards, and building positive relationships to ensure communities have access to quality beverages safely and on time.

What You’ll Do

• Safely drive a PepsiCo truck to deliver products on an established or contingency route (routes may change day to day)
• Deliver products and execute all promotions, ensuring every scheduled customer is serviced by the end of your shift
• Unload product and merchandise each account to local standards (stock shelves and displays, rotate inventory for freshness, and keep product organized in backrooms/coolers as applicable)
• Follow DOT regulations and safe work practices while driving, delivering, and handling product
• Build positive working relationships with store contacts and complete required daily paperwork (including invoices and settlement of cash/charges when applicable)

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years or older
• Valid CDL Class A License with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and Follow DOT regulations (Note: In all California locations except Stockton, both non-excepted intrastate and non-excepted interstate status are accepted for this position. In Stockton, CA, only non-excepted interstate status is accepted.)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Position is labor intensive, requiring lifting, loading and pushing/pulling a significantly high volume of cases per day ranging from 20-45 pounds per case repeatedly during work hours (with or without accommodation)
• Position requires reaching, squatting, and bending while delivering and merchandising products in the store and delivering products across a wide variety of weather conditions (with or without accommodation)
