Job summary

Jasper Engines and Transmissions is hiring a Delivery Driver in Indianapolis, IN. You will load, unload and drive a 20-24’ box truck, ensuring safe, timely deliveries while upholding excellent customer service.

The role requires DOT regulatory compliance, daily vehicle checks, and occasional branch warehouse support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, energetic, and motivated, with the ability to obtain the necessary licensure and a DOT Medical Card.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card.
• CDL is not required.
• Experience driving a 20-24' box truck is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and drive a 20-24’ box truck.
• Deliver to customers safely and on time with strong customer service.

• Loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24’ box truck.
• Safe and timely delivery to our customers with a high level of customer service.
• Following DOT rules and regulations.
• Conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.
• Assisting with branch warehouse support.

The ideal candidate must be a detail-oriented, energetic, and motivated person.

• Must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card. (CDL is not required)
• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck (preferred but not required).
• Understanding of how to use a GPS.
• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting rate $21.50/hour.
