Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a delivery driver for radiopharmaceuticals and oncology medications across assigned routes. You will prepare doses for shipment, scan orders on a handheld tablet and ensure accurate, timely delivery to medical facilities.

You must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, drive in all conditions, and work weekends/holidays as needed. Cardinal Health offers competitive benefits and a sign-on bonus in California.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required or preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read and write in English for documents.
• Comfortable operating computers/tablets and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiopharmaceuticals or oncology meds to medical providers on assigned routes.
• Package medications for shipment and load/unload containers safely.
• Scan orders with handheld tablet to confirm accuracy and navigate routes.
• Maintain vehicle condition and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Perform general cleaning and other duties as required.

Schedule

• 40 hours per week.
• 3 week days (will fluctuate week by week) 5:00am - 1:00pm
• Saturday and Sunday 6:00am-2:30pm
• Candidate must be flexible to work different days, hours and schedules based on business need.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health

Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT)..

Responsibilities

• Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
• Processes packages returned from customer locations
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to lift and manageup to 75 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Ability to work weekends, on call, holidays, overtime, alternate days/shifts, or be in a rotation
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment
• Ability to use computers and tablets
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.
• May require vendor credentialing
