Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Delivery Driver to reliably distribute radiopharmaceuticals and oncology medications to medical care providers on an assigned route. This role involves loading and unloading, using a handheld tablet for orders, and maintaining vehicle readiness.

You must be at least 18, hold a valid driver's license, be able to lift up to 75 pounds, and work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and overtime. Training provided and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to drive a company vehicle.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Able to drive in all weather conditions day or night.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Able to sit, stand, and be mobile for extended periods.
• Weekend, on-call, holidays, overtime, or rotating shifts may be required.
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment.
• Proficient with computers and tablets.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Delivery driving experience is a plus.
• English reading/writing skills required.
• Vendor credentialing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiopharmaceutical or oncology medications to customer accounts on the assigned route using a company vehicle (non-CDL).
• Package medications for shipment, perform testing, and load/unload containers.
• Use a handheld tablet to scan orders, obtain stop information, and navigate routes.
• Process returned packages from customer locations.
• Maintain vehicle in good operating condition and perform minor roadside repairs.
• Perform general facility cleaning and other duties as required.

Pay rate: $20.50 per hour

Schedule

• 40 hours per week.
• 3 week days (will fluctuate week by week) 5:00am - 1:00pm
• Saturday and Sunday 6:00am-2:30pm
• Candidate must be flexible to work different days, hours and schedules based on business need.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery Contributes To Cardinal Health

Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Responsibilities

• Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
• Processes packages returned from customer locations
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to lift and manage up to 75 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Ability to work weekends, on call, holidays, overtime, alternate days/shifts, or be in a rotation
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment
• Ability to use computers and tablets
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.
• May require vendor credentialing
