Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Pharmacy Services & Delivery associate to ensure prompt delivery of radiopharmaceuticals and oncology medications to medical care providers on an assigned route. You will prepare doses for shipment, scan orders, and load/unload containers.

Ideal candidates are at least 18, have a valid driver’s license, and can lift up to 75 pounds. Weekend shifts and flexible hours are required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 with valid driver's license.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Able to work weekends, holidays, overtime.
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions.
• English reading/writing to process documents.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to customer accounts on assigned route using company vehicle (non-CDL).
• Package radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment and load/unload containers.
• Use handheld tablet to scan orders, obtain route stop info and navigation.
• Process packages returned from customer locations.
• Maintain vehicles and perform minor roadside repairs.
• Perform general facility cleaning and other duties as required.

Pay rate:$20.50 per hour

Schedule

• 40 hours per week.

• 3 week days (will fluctuate week by week) 5:00am - 1:00pm

• Saturday and Sunday 6:00am-2:30pm

• Candidate must be flexible to work different days, hours and schedules based on business need.
  

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health

Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT)..

Responsibilities

• Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)

• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers

• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation

• Processes packages returned from customer locations

• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs

• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle

• Must hold a valid driver's license

• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours

• Ability to lift and manageup to 75 pounds

• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time

• Ability to work weekends, on call, holidays, overtime, alternate days/shifts, or be in a rotation

• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment

• Ability to use computers and tablets

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Prior delivery driving experience a plus

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred

• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.

• May require vendor credentialing
