Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for employment now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from a DOT-licensed medical examiner or be willing to obtain one within five business days of a conditional offer.
• Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently to interact with customers and complete reports.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employees must have a 'meets expectations' rating and completed HR Cloud eLearning courses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner.
• Load customer orders properly on the truck.
• Ensure appropriate forms are completed.
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely manner.
• Maintain the store vehicle and alert the supervisor to repair needs.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints from customers.
• Adhere to assigned routes and time schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Operate equipment such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
• Perform warehouse duties, tinting, and mixing customer orders and assisting customers.
