Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a delivery driver to operate from Store #5040 in Harrisonburg, VA. You will deliver paint and related products to customers, load orders, and ensure accuracy and safety on every trip.

Responsibilities include maintaining vehicle, handling customer inquiries, and documenting deliveries, with availability for evenings/weekends. Prior experience with material handling equipment and a valid DOT MEC are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work without visa sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must have a DOT MEC or be willing to obtain one within five business days of a conditional offer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Must read/speak English sufficiently to communicate with customers and record reports.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks.
• Ensure deliveries are complete, properly packed, and safely delivered to customers.
• Load customer orders onto the truck and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle customer questions or complaints.
• Adhere to routes, time schedules, and transportation laws; maintain a safe driving record.
• Prepare reports and complete necessary delivery documentation.
• Perform warehouse duties as needed, including tinting and mixing orders.
