Job summary

Encore in Orlando is seeking a dependable delivery driver to ensure timely delivery of goods to customer sites on defined routes. You will review orders before delivery, and load/unload goods using Encore-owned, leased, or rented trucks under 26,001 lbs.

A valid license and clean driving record are required. The role requires maintaining a medium-duty DOT (Non-CDL) certification, strong communication, and customer service, while working with the dispatcher in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• GVWR under 26,001 lbs; non-CDL.
• Valid driver’s license with 2+ years driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• General vehicle inspection and maintenance knowledge.
• Load securement understanding.
• Proficiency with GPS and routing systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive Encore-owned, leased, or rented vehicles with GVWR < 26,001 lbs.
• Maintain set routes and schedules to meet customer expectations.
• Load and unload goods; secure contents for transport.
• Review orders for delivery/pickup accuracy.
• Communicate with Dispatcher and customers as needed.
• Assist with equipment handling and warehouse duties as required.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and log entries.
