Job summary

Encore is seeking a Warehouse and Driver Technician (Non CDL) to split time between warehouse duties and driving responsibilities. You will handle shipping/receiving, QC, inventory, loading/unloading, and delivery using Encore vehicles under 26,001 lbs.

A DOT certification is required per state law, along with a valid license and 2+ years driving experience. Responsibilities include maintaining routes, performing inspections, and ensuring safety and accuracy of orders.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED is required.
• 21+ years old to drive Encore trucks.
• 1–3 years’ experience in warehouse environment.
• GVWR under 26,001 lbs driving requirement.
• Valid Driver’s license with minimum 2 years driving experience.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
• Basic computer literacy; Microsoft Office familiarity.
• Experience with DOT regulations and telematics ELD logs (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Inbound/Outbound order processing: receive, ship, label, and pack orders; QC and inventory control.
• Driving, delivery, and pickup: maintain routes, load/unload, verify orders for accuracy, ensure cargo security.
• Logistics: ship small parcels, operate forklifts, ensure timely deliveries; perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Safety: perform daily forklift checks, participate in safety initiatives, follow transport regulations.
• Warehouse housekeeping and customer service: keep area clean and maintain equipment; support cross-department collaboration.
