Job summary

Encore is seeking a Seattle-based delivery driver to ensure timely deliveries to customer sites, review orders for accuracy, and load/unload goods. You will operate Encore owned or leased trucks under 26,001 lbs GVWR and maintain a medium-duty DOT certification as required.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license with at least two years of driving, a clean driving record, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED.
• GVWR under 26,001 lbs driving.
• Valid Driver's License with at least 2 years driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of vehicle inspection and maintenance.
• Understand load securement.
• Proficient using GPS and routing systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive Encore owned, leased or rented vehicles including vans and box trucks with GVWR < 26,001 lbs.
• Maintain set routes and schedules as directed to meet customer expectations.
• Loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Review orders for accuracy during delivery and pickup to ensure items are accounted for.
• Ensure contents are secured inside truck to prevent damage.
• Obey traffic laws and drive according to conditions.
• Complete a manual or electronic log book as assigned.
