Job summary

Rexel USA Mayer Team in Tampa, FL is seeking a Truck Driver to join the team. This role delivers products to customers, branches, and suppliers in a delivery van or box truck with no CDL required.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, maintaining the vehicle, loading/unloading, documentation, and supporting branch operations. Emphasis on safety, reliability, and strong customer service to meet delivery deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• No CDL required.
• Must pass pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record review.
• Must obtain non-expired medical certificate within 60 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended driver's license in the past 3 years.
• Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to/from customers, branches and suppliers using a van or box truck.
• Inspect vehicle daily and complete inspection report.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report needed repairs.
• Follow DOT and state driving laws and regulations.
• Load/unload materials, verify quantities and damage-free condition.
• Prepare orders for delivery and obtain customer receipts.
• Collect material returns and verify condition and quantities.
• Assist in preparing orders for delivery when needed.
• Mentor entry level drivers and support branch functions as required.
• Adhere to routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
