Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
• Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to/from customers and branches in a delivery van or box truck.
• Inspect vehicle and complete a daily inspection report.
• Follow DOT, local and state driving laws and regulations.
• Load or unload vehicle and verify material against orders.
• Prepare orders for delivery and ensure proper documentation is completed.
• Provide training and mentorship to entry level drivers as needed.
• Assist in other branch duties such as stocking or shipping when required.
• Travel to offsite locations as needed.
