Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Truck Driver for the Mayer Team in Tampa, FL. The role involves delivering products, loading/unloading, and maintaining documentation. A valid driver’s license and compliance with DOT regulations are required. Senior drivers may mentor new hires and assist in various branch duties.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate within 60 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended driver’s license for a traffic accident/violation in past 3 years.
• Must not have any at fault accidents in past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Inspect company vehicle for defects and complete a daily inspection report.
• Load or unload vehicle and verify order accuracy and damage.
• Follow DOT, local and state driving laws and regulations.
• Complete delivery documents; obtain customer signature and packing list.
• May assist in preparing orders for delivery and return of materials.
• Mentor entry level drivers and participate in training when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned at branch.
