Job summary

The Mayer Team at Rexel USA, Inc. in Fort Walton Beach, FL is seeking a Truck Driver to deliver products to customers, branch locations, and suppliers using a delivery van or box truck. No CDL required.

The role emphasizes safe, efficient deliveries and accurate handling of orders. Responsibilities include inspecting the vehicle, completing daily reports, following DOT and state regulations, loading/unloading, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
• Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle and complete daily inspection report.
• Keep vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained; report needed repairs.
• Follow DOT and local/state driving laws and regulations.
• Load/unload material and verify order accuracy (quantity/type).
• Assist in preparing orders for delivery when needed.
• Ensure all delivery documentation is completed and signed.
• Pickup material returns and verify condition/quantities.
• Maintain/repair/stock branch equipment as required.
• Participate in training of entry-level drivers and provide coaching.
