Heidelberg Distributing Company is seeking a Delivery Driver to cover routes in Ohio. The role emphasizes strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced beverage distribution environment.

Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 6 AM–4 PM, with additional hours as needed. Starting pay is $20.00/hour plus benefits; full-time employment with opportunities for advancement in a family-oriented company.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid standard Driver’s license and meet insurance requirements.
• CDL holders must pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must be willing to work flexible shifts.
• Must have strong customer service skills and a solid understanding of DOT rules and regulations.
• Must have a positive attitude and excellent attendance record.
• Must be able to move or lift up to 165 lbs on occasion and 25+ lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
• Make deliveries to assigned routes in a safe and efficient manner.
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with customers and fellow associates.
• Assist the warehouse as needed.
• Understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Secure company property including cash, checks, and vehicle at all times.
• Maintain a clean and productive workplace and follow safety procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager.
