Job summary

Heidelberg Distributing Company is seeking a Delivery Driver to handle product delivery for our account base and territory. You will need strong interpersonal skills and thrive in a fast-paced beverage Alcohol environment, delivering to customers and supporting warehouse operations.

Responsibilities include daily pre/post-trip inspections, safe deliveries, clear communication with customers and teammates, and adherence to DOT rules. Schedule is Monday–Friday with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid standard Driver’s license and meet insurance requirements.
• Candidates must pass a physical, drug screen and background check.
• Willing to work flexible shifts and adhere to DOT rules.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers and teammates.
• Maintain a positive attitude and excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections completed on a daily basis.
• Deliveries made in a safe and efficient manner.
• Communicate with customers and fellow associates with respect.
• Assist the warehouse as needed.
• Follow safety, operations, and maintenance instructions and manuals.
• Secure company property including cash, checks and vehicle.
• Maintain a clean and effective workplace.
• Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager.
