Job summary

Heidelberg Distributing Company is seeking a Delivery Driver in Ohio to deliver products to assigned accounts and territories within the beverage industry. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Expect daily vehicle inspections, safe deliveries, and professional communication with customers and fellow associates. The position operates in a warehouse setting with a Tuesday–Friday schedule and early morning hours.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid standard Driver’s license and meet insurance requirements.
• Must be able to pass a physical.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must be willing to work flexible shifts.
• Must have strong customer service skills and a strong understanding of DOT rules and regulations.
• Must have a positive, winning attitude and excellent attendance record.
• Must be a fast-paced individual with strong work ethic.
• Must have strong communication skills both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections completed on a daily basis
• Deliveries made in a safe and efficient manner
• Communicate effectively and with respect to customers and fellow associates
• Assist the warehouse as needed
• Must be able to understand documents such as safety rules, operations and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
• Secure company property at all times including cash, checks and company vehicle
• Maintain a clean and effective workplace
• Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager
