Job summary

Heidelberg Distributing Company is seeking a Delivery Driver to service assigned accounts within our Ohio/Kentucky territory. You will be responsible for delivering products on your route, maintaining professionalism with customers, and upholding safety and DOT compliance.

The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to pass a physical and background check, and flexibility to work varied shifts in a fast-paced beverage distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid standard Driver’s license and meet insurance requirements.
• Must be able to pass a physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Flexible shifts and strong attendance are required.
• Strong customer service and understanding of DOT rules and regulations.
• Positive attitude, fast-paced with good work ethic and communication.

Responsibilities

• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections completed on a daily basis.
• Deliveries made in a safe and efficient manner.
• Communicate effectively and with respect to customers and fellow associates.
• Assist the warehouse as needed.
• Must be able to understand documents such as safety rules, operations and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Secure company property at all times including cash, checks and company vehicle.
