Job summary

Heidelberg Distributing Company is hiring a Delivery Driver to efficiently deliver products to our account base within the assigned Columbus area. Strong interpersonal skills and a fast-paced approach are essential in this beverage distribution role.

The candidate must hold a valid driver’s license, be able to pass a DOT physical, and complete a background check and drug screen. Excellent attendance and communication are required for success in a team-driven warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a valid standard Driver’s license.
• CDL holders must pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Willing to work flexible shifts as needed.
• Strong customer service and DOT knowledge.
• Positive attitude and good attendance.
• Fast-paced with strong work ethic.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
• Deliver products safely to accounts within route.
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Assist warehouse as needed.
• Understand safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Secure company property including cash and vehicle.
• Maintain clean and organized workplace.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Operations Manager.
