Job summary

Ace Hardware in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team. You will manage a delivery schedule, load and deliver merchandise from stores to customers’ homes, and provide exceptional customer service with a curbside to white-glove approach.

The role requires a valid California driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the ability to work safely on site. We offer a supportive, team-focused environment and a competitive hourly rate of $21–$22.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery schedule and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Load, transport, and deliver merchandise to customers' homes.
• Provide curbside to white-glove delivery service.
• Build merchandise for display and assist with store tasks.
• Process screen orders and other duties assigned by Store Manager.
• Deliver excellent customer service on every interaction.

• Responsible for managing a delivery schedule

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently to load and unload customer orders.
• Driver making deliveries must be able to lift 100 pounds and carry 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff and customers a normal in-person and phone conversation.
• Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneel.
• Ascend and descend ladder.
• Ability to work at heights.

License and Certificates:

• Must possess and maintain a current valid California Driver's License.
• Must clear DMV check and be cleared for company insurance

Rate of Pay: $21-$22
