Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Delivery Driver to provide on-time product delivery and excellent customer service to our customers. You will operate a Graybar truck on a local daytime route, often Monday through Friday, and return home each night.

Responsibilities include route planning, loading/unloading, vehicle checks, and maintaining logs. Physical work and safe operation of equipment are required, with benefits and employee ownership playing a key role in our culture.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment physical testing.
• Experience driving a van or truck up to 26,000 GVW.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for the vehicle type.
• Must pass DOT medical exam and Commercial Motor Vehicle certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan routes to meet delivery deadlines and provide on-time delivery.
• Deliver products to Graybar customers with strong customer service.
• Load/unload trucks and use warehouse equipment safely (forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Maintain truck logs and inspect vehicle and supplies.

More than a job - a career.As a Delivery Driver, you will have face-to-face contact with customers as you deliver orders. You will safely drive a Graybar truck or van from the warehouse to each destination, providing on-time delivery and good customer service. You will be responsible for maintaining positive customer relations and passing along customer feedback, and even promoting services and products! One advantage of this role is that it is typically Monday-Friday during the day and you will be home each night.
