Job summary

Oerlikon is seeking a Delivery Driver for the Oklahoma City facility. You will operate company vans and delivery vehicles to collect and deliver coated products between the Coating Center and customers, loading and unloading as required while preparing documentation for timely transport.

This role blends driving with hands-on work in the coating center, roughly 95% driving and 5% center duties, including packing and receiving.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Be able to lift 44 lbs and handle hands-on tasks.
• Strong work ethic, high energy, and detail-oriented.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude and reliability.
• Good attendance and punctuality.

• Demonstrate Safe driving habits and patience.
• Provide exceptional, timely customer deliveries.
• Handle customer tooling with the utmost care.
• Act as liaison to Center Management with regards to customer’s needs, observations, and competitive climate.
• Follow the Fleet Management requirements as defined in the company policy.
• Maintain delivery vehicle.
• Ensure all registrations, license plates and insurance are up to date.
• Work in the coating center when not on the road driving.
• Obtaining customer signatures when needed.

Job description

We are looking for a Delivery Driver for our Oklahoma City facility. In this role you will operate company vans and/or delivery vehicles and will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of coated products to and from the Coating Center to the Customer. This position requires the Delivery Driver to load and unload materials, goods, equipment between various destinations as assigned. Delivery Driver also prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely and accurate transportation. May be responsible for vehicle maintenance and presentation. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines and procedures to perform the functions of the job. This position also requires the delivery driver to work in the coating center when not driving. This position can be 95 percent driving and 5 percent working in the center. This can include packing, fixturing, and receiving.
