Artisan Field, Inc. is seeking a Pick-up and Delivery (P&D) Driver based in Hampton, VA. The role entails delivering supplies and equipment on a set schedule, performing vehicle inspections, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
The candidate must lift up to 50 lbs, navigate stairs, and communicate effectively with the team. The position runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with potential weekend work adjusted during the week.
The Pick-up and Delivery Driver (P&D) serves as a valuable member of our ROCK SOLID team and represents the company in a professional manner. The P&D is responsible for delivering supplies and equipment to specified locations following a prepared schedule. The P&D must be efficient, organized and able to communicate effectively on a daily basis. This person must keep accurate records and notes for each location. (There may be work on the weekends-but this may be adjusted during the week to respect days off).
This position requires that a person walk distances and stand for periods of time. Also, required is climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, pulling, pushing, stooping, reaching, carrying multiple items, lifting at least 50lbs, etc. in order to deliver supplies and equipment. Responsibilities include installing equipment, mounting or dismounting equipment, assembling or disassembling equipment and tasked to troubleshoot equipment. This job will require the use of protective gear as a safeguard from exposure to chemicals, dust, oils, grit, grime, other soils, frayed cords, wires, and other potentially hazardous conditions. The P&D will use different tools and equipment to complete tasks for which protective gear is necessary.

The P&D Driver should return to the office no later than 4:30pm* (or sooner depending on schedules; scheduled workday is subject to change depending on a supply availability and/or customer’) allowing time to offload the vehicle and submit completed paperwork. Returned supplies and equipment should offload from the vehicle into the warehouse and stored in appropriate locations (this includes but is not limited to separating soiled laundry, broken equipment and returned supplies). Only a small surplus of ’emergency” clean laundry should be left on the truck. All completed Inventory Sheets are to be placed in the supply inbox for review. The assigned phone and keys should be left at the office.
