Job summary

DCM Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver to handle Monday through Friday cannabis product deliveries across the MD/DC market from our on-site facility.

The role requires safe vehicle operation, verification of manifests, and interaction with customers to ensure timely deliveries. You will collect payments, coordinate with the Office Manager, and maintain records while adhering to SOPs and safety protocols in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Pass Federal and State criminal history background checks.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Clean driving record.
• Minimum of two years driving experience.
• Willing and able to work after normal business hours for longer delivery routes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the vehicle daily for safety and readiness.
• Drive and operate the vehicle safely and securely.
• Follow SOPs, directives, training information, and policies while performing duties.
• Verify METRC manifest accuracy and load deliveries to stops daily.
• Adhere to safety and road protocols on routes and on-site deliveries.
• Collect payments, verify methods, and report to the Office Manager.
• Keep petty cash logs accurate and the vehicle tidy and organized.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance schedule (oil changes, tires, brakes).
• Complete daily duties on time and take on additional tasks as needed.
• Communicate openly with management and coworkers about daily output.
• Assist other departments when scheduled and allowed.
• Work in environments with temperatures 55°–85°F.

This shift is Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm.

Delivery Driver

Our Delivery Driver is primarily responsible for the Monday through Friday delivery of all cannabis and dispensary intended merchandise. The Driver will be responsible for safely and securely transporting all packages to their destination while maintaining the highest level of professional behaviors. In addition, the Driver will be responsible for collecting payment(s), communicating payment method(s), and closing out of daily delivery tasks with the General Manager.

Your role in caring for our company:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Conduct daily visual inspections of the facility's transportation vehicle.
• Operate vehicle in a safe and secure manner.
• Responsible for following all standard operating procedures (SOP) operational guidelines, verbal directives, training information, and policies when performing duties.
• Verify accuracy of METRC manifest and load all deliveries according to stop location into vehicle daily.
• Follow all safety protocol while on site and abide by the road safety protocol while on routes.
• Unload and deliver all product boxes and abide by customers protocols while on site at their location.
• Collect payments, verify payment method, and communicate with Office Manager.
• Maintain up to date accurate data petty cash logs and a clean and organized work vehicle.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance schedule to include oil changes, tire rotations, brake replacements, etc.
• Complete all daily duties on time and willing to accept additional job duties and responsibilities.
• Maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workers about daily production output.
• Flex to other departments to assist as needed and allowed within the production schedule.
• Must be comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures from 55°-85°.

All other duties as necessary.

Qualifications we ask you to have:

• For legal reasons, all employees need to be at least 25 years of age.
• You will be asked to pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.
• We ask that you have at least a high school diploma/GED.i>
• We ask that you have a clean driving record.
• We ask that you have a minimum of two (2) years of driving experience.
• Willing and able to work after normal business hours as it pertains to longer delivery routes.

• Ability to work at a fast pace in a high production environment!
• We ask that you do not have allergies to plant materials or nitrile gloves; this position requires daily exposure to cannabis plants and nitrile gloves.

Work Schedule/Location:

• On-site 5 days a week.

• This position requires the ability to work in a cannabis growing facility, there will be strong odors, bright lights, and various noises throughout the workday.
• This position will require PPE to be worn throughout the workday to include scrubs, masks, gloves, and hairnets while working with the plants. DCM will provide scrubs, gloves, and hair nets to all employees.
