Job summary

District Cannabis LLC. is seeking a Kitchen Associate to support infused product production—dosing, dispensing, packaging and quality control—within a fast-paced, on-site setting. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a growing cannabis operation.

You will handle packaging machinery, prepare ingredients for topicals and edibles, and ensure clean, compliant workflows while protecting confidentiality and following HR policies.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old by policy.
  • Submit to Federal and State criminal history background checks.
  • High School degree or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate candy packaging, candy depositor, and capsule bottler machinery.
  • Prepare ingredients for topical and edible products.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment and perform quality control.
  • Dispense topicals into containers and fill capsules as needed.
  • Hand-pack and seal infused products while following food-safety standards.
  • Adhere to confidentiality and non-disclosure requirements.

The shift for this role is Monday thru Friday 6AM - 2:30PM

Kitchen Associate

Our Kitchen Associate is primarily responsible for assisting with all steps of the infused product production process including, dosing, dispensing, packaging and quality control.

Your role in caring for our products:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Operating machinery including candy packaging, candy depositor, and capsule bottler machine
  • Prepping ingredients required for topical and edible products
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Cleaning, organizing, Quality Control
  • Dispensing topicals into appropriate containers
  • Dispensing product into capsules using pipette
  • Hand packaging and sealing of infused products
  • Maintaining food safety standards
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications we ask you to have:
  • For legal reasons, all employees need to be at least 21 years of age.
  • You will be asked to pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.
  • High School degree/GED preferred.

Work Schedule/Location:
  • On-site 5 days a week.

  • This role will ask that you sit, walk, bend, and reach throughout your entire shift. There may be days where you stand the entire day, sit the entire day, etc. Please be flexible as needs will change.
  • This role is similar to an assembly line in that it will be completing repetitive tasks throughout the day.
  • You will be asked to carry loads of up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
  • This position requires arm extending, and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects such as leaves.
  • As this is a cannabis growing facility, there will be strong odors, bright lights, and various noises throughout the workday.
  • Employees are asked to wear scrubs, masks, gloves, and hairnets while working with the plants. DCM will provide scrubs, gloves, and hair nets to all employees.
