Job summary

Border International in El Paso, TX is seeking a Delivery Driver to load, transport, and deliver parts and equipment to clients safely and on time.

The role requires following routes, verifying invoices, logging deliveries, maintaining the truck, and providing excellent customer service. It is a full-time position with a 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule, Tuesday through Saturday, and offers 401(k), health, dental and vision insurance, plus paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must have a current, valid driver's license for the state of driving duties and meet insurability standards.
• Flexible schedule - must be available to work some Saturdays.
• Able to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Must adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
• Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
• Verifies invoice matches purchase order for each pickup and checks payments received for each delivery.
• Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pickups; obtains recipient signatures.
• Unloads truck each night and returns all paperwork and undelivered parts.
• Performs basic maintenance on the truck and ensures inspections are performed.
• Advises Parts Manager if trucks need major repairs or maintenance.
• Helps maintain a professional appearance of the Parts Department.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Inspect and protect company assets, merchandise, vehicles, building, and people.

Join the Border International family!!! Border International is hiring a Delivery Driver in El Paso, TX!

A Delivery Driver loads, transports, delivers, and/or picks up parts and equipment for the dealership to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Must adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
• Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
• Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up and checks payments received for each delivery.
• Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Requests recipient's signature on each delivery entry.
• Unloads truck each night. Turns in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
• Handles basic maintenance of the truck including filling the tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean, and making sure required inspections are performed.
• Advises the Parts Manager if delivery trucks need major repairs and maintenance.
• Helps maintain the professional appearance of the Parts Department.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Inspecting, protecting, and maintaining company assets, merchandise, vehicles, building, and people.
• Must maintain a clean driving record, i.e., must remain insurable under our company's liability insurance policy.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must have a current, valid driver's license for the state in which the employee performs his or her driving duties and must meet insurability standards.
• Valid State Driver's License; must meet insurability standards.
• Flexible schedule - must be available to work some Saturdays.
• Must be able to utilize both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
