Job summary

Border International in El Paso, TX is hiring a Delivery Driver to load, transport, and deliver parts and equipment for dealerships and clients. You will follow routes and safety procedures, verify invoices, and maintain delivery logs while providing excellent customer service.

You must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license with insurability. The role includes some Saturdays, manual and automatic transmission driving, and basic truck maintenance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid State Driver's License; must meet insurability standards.
• Flexible schedule – some Saturdays.
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Loads, transports, delivers, and/or picks up parts and equipment for customers and businesses.
• Adheres to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
• Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pickup and checks payments received for each delivery.
• Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pickups; obtains recipient signatures.
• Unloads truck nightly and submits all paperwork and undelivered parts.
• Performs basic truck maintenance such as fueling, oil checks, cleanliness, and required inspections.
• Informs Parts Manager if major repairs are needed and supports maintenance.
• Maintains the professional appearance of the Parts Department and provides excellent customer service.
• Inspects, protects, and maintains company assets, merchandise, vehicles, building, and people.
