Job summary

Cemstone in Eagan, MN, is seeking a dedicated Driver for a full-time, hourly-grade position. The role focuses on timely deliveries, safety, and maintaining strong customer and supplier relations.

You will plan routes, load and unload merchandise, and ensure accurate manifests. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (or equivalent), with truck experience and the ability to pass a DOT drug screen and physical.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (minimum); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year experience is preferred.
• Health Card. MN-DL – CDL – Class A Preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass Federal Department of Transportation drug screening and physical.

Responsibilities

• Maintain effective working relationships with company employees, suppliers, and customers. Promote and maintain the professional image and reputation of the company and ensure timely problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Perform routine inspection of vehicle and supplies to ensure road safety.
• Plan route to and from customers’ businesses and adjust for traffic and/or construction.
• Ensure that manifests are complete and accurate.
• Deliver merchandise to customer and contact customer if they are not present.
• Load truck with daily merchandise to be delivered as well as unload merchandise for customer.
• Pull orders to match manifest.
• Prepare and maintain records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Address issues with customers and other employees in a diplomatic manner, in a variety of stressful situations.
• Select appropriate processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices, or instruction.
• Assist in the warehouse as needed
• Other duties as assigned
