Job summary

Jaeckle Distributors in Eagan, MN is hiring a CDL driver for daily home runs and local deliveries. You will service Minneapolis–St. Paul and surrounding cities, with a mix of routes and daily start times.

The role emphasizes accurate loading, safe operation of CMVs, and strong customer interaction. CDL A or B and a clean driving record are required; training provided and local support available.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B with current DOT medical and registration.
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Must pass a DOT drug screen and background checks.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate pallet jacks or forklifts is required.
• Excellent attention to detail and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to specified customer locations in required area.
• Load, unload and handle deliveries safely and accurately.
• Maintain logs and comply with DOT regulations.
• Provide courteous customer service and reports on delivery status.

We are looking for a CDL B or CDL A delivery driver to help us deliver partnership, accuracy, and responsiveness.

Position highlights:

• 1. Home daily, no multi-day routes.

Requirements

• Current Class A or B CDL with up-to-date DOT registration and medical certificate / qualifications
• A least 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred but will consider recent graduates or equivalent driving experience in the military
• Must pass a multi-panel drug screen and maintain drug free DOT compliance
• No more than (2) moving violations in the past year
• Forklift certification required (trained in house)
• Able to operate trucks with either a manual or automatic transmission
• Military experience a plus
• Ability to perform physical tasks which include the lifting and moving of 50 lbs. or more and pulling/pushing product loads weighing from 250 lbs-1000 lbs. with assisted equipment.
• Mobility to frequently bend, lift, stand, and get on and off vehicles multiple times each shift.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and scales.
• Proficient in safe material handling practices, experience handling stone slab products is a plus!
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to prioritize daily workload ensuring work is correct and complete.
• Superior ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Excellent active listening skills to fully understand instructions, ask clarifying questions, and engage in effective problem-solving.
• Ability to perform basic math with high accuracy - add, subtract, multiply, divide.
• Ability to work overtime as needed by the operation
