Job summary

Oriental-Bank is seeking a Manager of Delinquency Management to lead the Operational and Quality Support team within the Collections Unit in a hybrid role, based in Bayamon, PR. You will ensure accurate reporting, process improvement, and risk management across internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include developing dashboards, overseeing audits, coaching staff, and driving continuous improvement in collections operations while ensuring compliance with banking regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or related field.
• 5+ years banking experience, preferably in collections, operations, quality assurance, or related banking functions.
• 3+ years of leadership experience with team management and coaching.
• Experience with reporting platforms, BI tools, workflow automation, and data analytics preferred.
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations, investor and insurer reporting, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Operational and Quality Support area, ensuring tasks are prioritized and completed on time.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members with accountability and alignment to objectives.
• Evaluate processes, implement improvements for efficiency, reporting quality, and controls.
• Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms to monitor trends and support decisions.
• Oversee audits, quality reviews, and corrective action follow-up.
• Support cross-functional projects in process improvement and data analytics.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
