Job summary

Marukai in the United States seeks a Delica Supervisor Assistant Section Manager to oversee Delica operations across multiple stores. You will conduct visits, train staff, and ensure adherence to recipes, safety, and quality standards.

As a field-based leader, you will coach Department Managers and Store Associates, manage production planning and inventory, and support store openings and renovations. You will drive performance and ensure excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Delica, Deli, Sushi, Bakery, or related food service operations.
• Experience training employees and leading kitchen operations required.
• Experience with inventory management, production planning, and food safety compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned stores regularly to observe Delica kitchen operations and ensure compliance with standards.
• Train and coach store leadership and associates on production procedures and best practices.
• Ensure products are prepared per recipes, specifications, and labeling requirements; monitor portion control and packaging.
• Support department managers in implementing action plans to improve productivity and profitability.
• Assist with store openings, renovations, and expansion of Delica departments; help establish training materials and guidelines.
• Travel regularly between locations to support operations and training needs.
