Qualifications

• Read, understand, and write English language at the eighth-grade level.
• Perform arithmetic calculations at the eighth-grade level for pricing and vendor check-in; follow recipes.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry heavy deli items.
• Stand for 8–10 hours while cooking and serving customers.
• Work in hot environments around ovens, fryers, grills; wear appropriate safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist Deli Manager with daily deli operations.
• Recruit, train and develop deli staff.
• Provide performance and motivational feedback to employees.
• Prepare work schedules and monitor inventory for in-stock efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment and control costs through waste and labor productivity.
• Submit timely and accurate store reports and ensure health standards.
