Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a team member to join our deli team in Philadelphia. You will handle and prepare deli products, wrap and label items, and stock shelves and bins while keeping displays neat and appealing for customers.

Responsibilities include weighing, slicing, weighing, and packaging products, ensuring proper cooler and prep area hygiene, and delivering friendly customer service to neighbors across the area.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must communicate and understand safety regulations and company policies.
• Must meet physical requirements and be able to perform job duties.
• Must complete required training and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to GIANT/MARTIN'S customers and team members.
• Receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, and package products.
• Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions, including stocking and rotating products.
• Maintain proper cooler conditions, including coding, rotating, organizing cases weighing up to 50 lbs., and cleaning.
• Maintain prep area, clean surfaces, utensils, and equipment, and follow sanitation rules.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations as they apply to the deli area.
