Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a deli team member to handle and possess knowledge of all deli products. You will receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, and stock deli items while keeping displays neat and properly signed. You will also ensure food safety and sanitation in all prep and service areas.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements for the position
• Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform this job.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service as part of GIANT/MARTIN'S stores.
• Receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, and package products.
• Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions, including stocking and rotating products.
• Maintain proper cooler conditions, code, rotate, organize, and clean cases of product.
• Maintain prep area cleanliness and sanitize work surfaces and utensils.
