Job summary

The GIANT Company in Newtown, PA is seeking a deli team member responsible for receiving, processing, preparing, wrapping, slicing, weighing, labeling, and stocking deli products while keeping displays neat and signed. You will help customers and ensure high standards of food safety and cleanliness on a daily basis.

You will deliver outstanding service, adhere to safety and sanitation standards, lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and complete required training per store policy.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodation
• Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform this job

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service as a core part of the role.
• Receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, and package products.
• Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions, including stocking and cleaning.
• Maintain proper cooler conditions and organize cases, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure prep area cleanliness and sanitation of surfaces and equipment.
• Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and Lockout/Tagout/Right to Know training.
