Job summary

The GIANT Company in Philadelphia is seeking a deli team member to handle and possess knowledge of all deli products. You will receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, mark, package, and stock shelves, ensuring neat displays.

You will maintain food safety, follow regulations, provide friendly customer service, and support merchandising. This on-site role requires physical stamina and adherence to PPE and training programs.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations to complete job duties satisfactorily.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service as a core requirement.
• Receive, process, prep, wrap, slice, weigh, and package products.
• Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions, including stocking and rotating product.
• Maintain proper cooler conditions including coding and rotation.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations in the deli area.
• Ensure safe and clean sales floor conditions, including sweeping and mopping.
• Dress according to company policy and maintain a neat appearance.
• Complete ELM training courses as added.
