Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to lead one of the store’s busiest teams and help customers make healthy food choices. You will oversee service quality, staffing, training, and daily operations to ensure top-notch customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong communication, and a commitment to food safety and company standards.

Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age with a preferred 2 years supervisory experience and strong knowledge of deli or related food service.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
Must have strong communication skills and ability to lead a team.
Must maintain food safety certifications and follow regulations.

Responsibilities

Assist the Deli Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Deli team.
Coordinate production, merchandising and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
Assist in hiring, teaching, training and developing the Deli team.
Unload deliveries and operate deli equipment while maintaining safety guidelines.
