Job summary

Mountaineer Park Inc. in New Cumberland, WV is hiring for a Regular Full-Time Deli position. You will prepare deli items, serve patrons, and assist the Deli Manager in daily operations. The role includes cash handling, opening/closing duties, and maintaining cleanliness and freshness of product.

Ideal candidates are 21+ with strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. WV Racing license background check will be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and polite presentation required.
• Ability to work with others in a team and with the public.

Responsibilities

• Rotate and ensure freshness of deli products and maintain outlet cleanliness.
• Ensure staff uniforms and perform spot-checks for product consistency.
• Assist cashier with opening/closing of the register.
• Complete opening/closing checklists with the team.
• Take patron orders, make sandwiches, side orders and serve beverages promptly.
• Keep the deli clean and organized per standards.
• Perform assorted prep work as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
