Job summary

Balducci’s Food Lover’s Market is seeking a Deli Supervisor to ensure smooth operation of the Prepared Foods and Deli department. You will lead a team, manage daily tasks, and uphold high standards of service and cleanliness.

You will assist with ordering, inventory, and pricing, while engaging customers with product recommendations and ensuring a quality shopping experience. This role requires 3+ years in deli work, including supervisory experience, and comfort with basic ordering tech.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in deli/prepared foods; at least 1 year in supervision.
• Strong product knowledge and basic knife skills.
• Leadership with high standards of service and cleanliness.
• Tech savvy with email and basic ordering/scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Open department daily with cleaning, restocking, and displays.
• Lead deli staff, train, and maintain customer-first culture.
• Provide customer service and product recommendations.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, pricing, and labeling.
• Operate deli equipment; maintain sanitation and food safety.
• Support monthly inventory and use basic tech for ordering and scheduling.
