Qualifications

• ServSafe certification required or may be waived by Deli Operations Manager
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Assist the store manager in supervisory decisions aligned with Town Pump standards and manage controllable expenses, sales, food costs, and shortages.
• Set a high standard for customer service and teamwork in Convenience Store Operations.
• Conduct new employee orientation and ongoing training; document performance and evaluations.
• Perform daily walk-throughs, prioritize tasks, delegate, and follow up on duties.
• Maintain deli inventory, order merchandise, and monitor deli metrics.
• Maintain deli area sanitation and equipment maintenance; prepare deli items and heated items as needed; promote kitchen and store safety.
• Check in deli vendors, verify orders, and ensure correct packing; manage PLUs and tills.
• Rotate products, check expiration dates, and remove unauthorized items.
• Complete ServSafe certification and hold a valid driver's license.
