Qualifications

• Minimum age 16; 18+ for operating equipment.
• Food Handler certification is required.
• On-the-job training is typical.

Responsibilities

• Assist deli personnel with slicing, weighing, packaging, labeling, and preparing hot/cold deli foods.
• Clean, assemble and prepare equipment for operation and check working order.
• Adhere to quality control and food safety standards by stocking and rotating deli products.
• Sort products and pallets according to efficiency standards.
• Greet customers and take orders in person or by phone; promote sales.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work/shopping environment following safety procedures.
