Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a deli associate to prepare hot and cold items and maintain appealing product presentation. You will assist in slicing, weighing, packaging and labeling, while providing friendly service to customers both in store and by phone.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16; 18+ to operate and clean motorized equipment.
• 21+ to drive for Company business per policy.
• Food Handler certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist deli staff with slicing, weighing, packaging and labeling hot and cold items.
• Prepare equipment for operation and inspect it for safe functioning.
• Stock, rotate and present deli products attractively.
• Greet customers and take orders in person or by phone.
• Promote sales through suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintain a clean, safe and sanitary work environment.
