Albertsons Companies is seeking a Deli Clerk in Portland, OR to prepare fresh deli items and help customers choose from meats, cheeses, hot foods, and prepared items. You will slice meats, assemble portions, and ensure displays are clean, stocked, and accurately labeled.

The role requires strong customer interaction, food knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while upholding food safety and company procedures. Early shifts, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Operate slicers and food preparation equipment safely.
• Basic math for weighing, portioning, and transactions.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior food service or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh deli items and assist customers with selections.
• Slicing meats, assembling and portioning to order.
• Keep deli displays clean, stocked, and visually appealing.
• Ensure items are properly labeled, priced, and fresh.
• Assist with grab‑and‑go options and daily operations.
