You’ll balance fast-paced service with attention to safety and quality, handle slicers and prep equipment, and support restocking and merchandising to keep the department inviting for shoppers.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to operate slicers and food prep equipment following training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math skills for weighing, portioning, and transactions.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh deli items and assist customers choosing meats, cheeses, hot foods, and prepared items.
• Slice meats and assemble grab-and-go items, ensuring friendly, efficient service.
• Keep the deli department stocked, clean, and organized throughout the day.
• Monitor freshness and temperature of products and maintain displays.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and company procedures.
