Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Franklin, MA is hiring a Deli Associate to slice, package, and weigh deli products while maintaining attractive display cases and strong member service.

You will assist Members with product selection, prepare special orders, and ensure freshness and quality across deli products, while following food safety policies and club standards. This role requires reliability and the ability to work with speed and care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a deli department preferred.
• Experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service to Members.
• Slices, packages, and weighs deli products.
• Help Members select correct products and sample items; prepare special orders.
• Receive and inspect deli shipments; display, stock, rotate deli products.
• Ensure products are fresh and meet quality standards; check for out-of-date items.
• Keep deli cooler shelves and display cases well stocked and varied.
• Operate deli equipment safely and according to policies.
• Clean and sanitize deli equipment and surfaces.
• Ensure scales function properly and items are weighed/priced accurately.
• Maintain club policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties, including rotating to other departments as needed.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
