Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring for a deli team member to slice, weigh and package meats and cheeses, while delivering excellent service to Members in the deli department. You will help with product selection, answer questions, and prepare special orders with precision.

The role emphasizes teamwork, speed, and adherence to food safety standards, with opportunities to grow in a fast-paced retail environment. This position is based in Massachusetts and offers weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a deli department preferred.
• Prior experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides a high level of customer service to Members.
• Answers questions and recommends deli items.
• Answers Member calls and takes special orders.
• Slices, packages, and weighs deli products, including cheeses and meats.
• Helps Members select the correct products.
• Samples product to assist in purchasing decisions.
• Prepares and packages special orders and party trays.
• Maintains deli presentation and cleanliness.
