Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking friendly deli team members to slice, package, weigh and present deli items like cheeses and meats. You’ll help Members select products, prepare special orders, and maintain clean display cases while following food safety guidelines to ensure freshness.

This role involves standing for long periods, lifting, and working in a fast-paced club environment. You’ll join a team committed to delivering excellent service, upholding GOLD standards, and supporting the store’s

Qualifications

• Work experience in a deli department preferred.
• Prior experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides high level customer service to Members; answers questions and recommends deli items.
• Slices, packages, and weighs deli products; assists Members with selections and special orders.
• Receives, inspects, stocks, rotates and shelves deli products following safety and freshness policies.
• Ensures products are fresh and meet quality standards; checks for out-of-date items daily.
• Maintains deli cooler shelves and display cases with a wide variety of products.
