Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring a Deli Clerk to assist customers and prepare fresh, healthy meals in a fast-paced grocery environment. You’ll help with packaging, displaying deli items, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while delivering friendly service.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and can work flexible hours including nights and weekends. Training provided; opportunities for growth and benefits are offered by Sprouts.

Qualifikationen

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Be dependable and reliable
• Friendly demeanor with positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction in a team environment
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 70 lbs. and stand for long periods
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the deli area
• Operate deli equipment and adhere to safety and health regulations

Aufgaben

• Assist customers by preparing fresh and easy meals and providing high levels of customer service
• Ensure deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented and maintain cleanliness of the deli area
• Fill, rotate, and display products; prepare special orders and party trays
• Operate slicers, ovens, microwaves, cutting tools, scales and other deli equipment
• Maintain safe, clean working environment and log/product quality and shipment accuracy
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment and quality
