The Fresh Market is seeking a Deli Specialist to uphold deli department excellence, ensuring product freshness, merchandising accuracy, and compliance with food safety standards. You will support inventory accuracy and presentation while engaging guests and preparing for promotions.

This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a can-do attitude in a fast-paced retail environment. Weekend and holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all deli products meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of deli items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.
• Follow all policies, food safety requirements, and sanitation procedures.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach on the sales floor.
